<공공 장소에서>

조용히 하세요. / 조용히 해 주세요/ 조용히 해 주시기 바랍니다.
자리에 앉으세요./ 자리에 앉아 주세요/ 자리에 앉아 주시기 바랍니다.
휴대폰을 꺼 주세요/ 휴대폰을 꺼 주시기 바랍니다.

Step 02. Learn the Grammars

<Words>

주문하다 order (the menu), 주다 give, 셀프 self, 조용히 하다 be quiet, 자리 seat, 앉다 sit, 휴대폰 mobile phone, 끄다 switch off, 안으로 to inside, 들어가다 go in, 돕다 help, 안다 hug, 안아 주다 give a hug, 사다 buy, 말saying, 말씀 saying (respectful word), 듣다 listen, 살리다 save (someone's life)

<Grammar>

1. Action Verb stem + (으)세요 use when you order/command the listener to do certain action in informal polite way. It can be usually used in public. It can be "please ~" in English.

1) Its ending is informal polite but still show the respect to the listener. 
Verb stem ending with consonants + 으세요/ Verb stem ending with vowel + 세요

2) It can use  the informal polite ending "아요/어요/해요" without -(으)시-. 
For the combination of forming, please check the link G03. Informal Polite ending-아요/어요/여요(해요) 

3) Without '-요/세요' it is 반말.

2. Action Verb stem + 아/어/해 주다: use when the speaker asks the listener to do a certain action for the speaker. it can be "Please do or Can you please ~ (for me)?" in English. 
1) It can use with informal polite ending '-아요/어요/해요' or '-세(시+어)요' with showing respect or 반말 without '-요'. 

3. Action verb stem + 기 바랍니다 or Action verb stem + 아/어/해 주(시)기 바랍니다: It's formal polite ending with showing respect to the listener when the speaker asks the listener to do a certain action.


4. Action verb stem + 지 마세요/지 말아요; tell the listener not to do a certain action. "Please do not ~" in English. '-지 마세요' is more respectful than '-지 말아요' but still polite way to say.
⠂가지 마세요./가지 말아요. Please do not go.
⠂말하지 마세요/ 말하지 말아요. Please do not say/speak.
⠂잊지 마세요/ 잊지 말아 주세요. Please do not forget/ Please do not forget for me.

Step 03. Practice

아래를 한국어로 쓰세요.
