• Verb stem + ㅂ니다 (verb stem ending with vowel)/ +습니다 (verb stem ending with consonant): Formal polite ending to make statements. For the question sentence, its ending change '-다.' to '-까?' 아침 식사합니까?
• Verb stem + 고 : connect two sentences like 'and' in English
